NAPA Auto Parts in Portland, OR is seeking a part-time Store Pro who serves as the primary contact for customers in the retail store, delivering automotive parts solutions and a high-quality experience.

You will assist both retail and wholesale customers, use product knowledge to help, operate POS and inventory tools, and support store operations and logistics while building customer loyalty.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain/maintain driver license as required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to learn automotive parts and technology systems
• Preferred: experience in automotive, retail, or parts environment
• Preferred: hands-on experience with vehicle repair or maintenance
• Preferred: knowledge of inventory or cataloging systems
• Preferred: background in automotive, diesel, heavy equipment, farm, marine, or dealership environments
• ASE Certification (not required)

Responsabilités

• Provide accurate automotive parts solutions to retail and wholesale customers
• Deliver a consistently positive and engaging customer experience
• Utilize product knowledge to assist customers and support team members
• Operate systems including POS, inventory/catalog tools, and communication devices
• Maintain high energy and customer focus in a fast-paced retail environment
• Support store operations including transactions, inquiries, and general workflow
• Build relationships with customers to drive loyalty and repeat business
• Utilize delivery management systems to coordinate and dispatch deliveries, pull and prepare orders for customers and drivers, and support efficient logistics and fulfillment operations
• Perform general housekeeping, cleaning, and organizational tasks to maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming store environment
• Assist with inventory control activities, including receiving merchandise, stocking shelves, conducting cycle counts, and helping maintain accurate inventory records
• Contribute to various store operations and team support tasks as needed to optimize store performance, merchandising, and overall efficiency
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to store processes and operational standards
