Job summary

Genuine Parts Company’s NAPA stores are seeking a Counter Sales associate to be the face of the retail store, helping customers with automotive parts and questions at the counter or over the phone.

You’ll use parts knowledge, provide excellent customer care, and work in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver’s license, strong communication, and a willingness to learn are essential; high school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or willingness to learn.
• High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school courses/degree acceptable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Love fast-paced retail environments.
• Great listening skills and empathy for customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person or over the phone.
• Use parts knowledge to assist other team members with customer questions.
• Provide outstanding customer care and interactions in the store.
