Job summary

Genuine Parts Company operates NAPA stores and seeks a friendly Counter Sales associate to be the face of our retail location, helping customers with automotive parts and advice.

You’ll provide parts answers in person and over the phone, assist teammates, and ensure a positive shopping experience in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license and willingness to learn are required; ASE certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License
• Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry OR willingness to learn all things auto parts
• High School Diploma or GED; Technical or Trade school courses or degree

Responsibilities

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for customers in person at the counter/over the phone
• Use parts knowledge to assist other team members answer questions for customers
• Provide outstanding customer care and interactions in the store
• Bring customer focus and high energy to a fast-paced store
• Welcome customers and engage to provide a positive consumer experience
