Genuine Parts Company (NAPA) seeks a Counter Sales associate to be the face of our retail store, helping customers with auto parts and service questions. You will assist the team, provide friendly support, and ensure a positive in-store experience.

Responsibilities include answering questions in person or by phone, using the catalog system, and handling transactions with accuracy. A valid driver’s license and eagerness to learn are important.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry preferred.
• Willing to learn all things auto parts.

Responsibilities

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for customers at the counter or over the phone.
• Use your parts knowledge to assist other team members.
• Deliver outstanding customer care in-store and interactions with customers.
• Bring customer focus and high energy to fast-paced stores.
• Operate the computer, cash register, telephone, and paper catalog system.
