Job summary

Genuine Parts Company (GPC) is seeking a NAPA Counter Sales associate to be the face of our store, helping customers with auto parts and solutions. You’ll support both retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone with a friendly, knowledgeable approach.

You’ll need a background in auto parts or a willingness to learn, plus strong communication and empathy for customers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Background in automotive parts or willingness to learn all things auto parts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Love fast-paced retail environments and customer focus.
• Strong listening skills and empathy for customers.
• ASE certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for customers in person or over the phone.
• Use parts knowledge to assist teammates in answering customer questions.
• Deliver outstanding customer care at the counter and on the shop floor.
• Engage with customers to create a positive in-store experience.
• Operate store technology including computer, cash register, phone, and catalogs.
