Job summary

USA GPC Genuine Parts Company is seeking a NAPA Counter Sales associate to be the face of the store, assisting customers with auto parts questions and providing friendly service at the counter or over the phone.

You will apply your parts knowledge to help teammates, ensure a positive customer experience, and stay engaged in a fast-paced retail environment. Prior parts industry experience is helpful, but a willingness to learn is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior parts store or automotive industry experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person or over the phone.
• Use parts knowledge to assist other team members with customer questions.
• Deliver outstanding customer care and interactions at the store counter.
• Bring customer focus and high energy to the fast-paced store.
• Greet customers and engage to provide a positive shopping experience.
• Utilize computer, cash register, telephone, and catalog systems.
