Job summary

NAPA in East Hartford, CT is hiring a Counter Sales associate to be the face of our retail store, helping customers with auto parts questions in person or over the phone. You’ll use your parts knowledge to assist customers and teammates, process transactions, and keep the store running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter/over the phone.
• Use parts knowledge to assist other team members with customer questions.
• Provide outstanding customer care and interactions with everyone who comes into the store.
• Welcome customers into the store and engage to provide a positive experience.
• Operate systems including POS, inventory/catalog tools, and other devices.
• Maintain energy and customer focus in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist with inventory control activities and order fulfillment as needed.
