Executive Dodge Jeep Ram in Wallingford, CT is seeking an experienced Parts Counter Person to manage inventory and assist customers in identifying and purchasing parts. This role links service technicians, customers, and suppliers to ensure parts are available for repairs.

Qualifications

• Previous parts advisor or parts counter experience (preferred).
• Understanding of basic automotive components and systems.
• Automotive dealership service experience (a plus).
• Any automotive certifications (a plus).
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the correct parts for their vehicles.
• Use electronic catalogs and software systems to locate part numbers and check availability.
• Monitor stock levels, receive shipments, and organize parts in the storage area.
• Place orders for parts not in stock and follow up on delivery timelines.
• Provide service technicians with the correct parts needed for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and warranty claims for defective or incorrect parts.
• Maintain accurate records of parts transactions, inventory, and customer interactions.
• Coordinate with suppliers, service advisors, and other dealership departments.

What You'll Do:

As a Parts Advisor at Executive Dodge Jeep Ram, you will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth operation of the service and repair departments.
