Qualifications

• Experience as a parts advisor or parts counter preferred.
• Understanding of basic automotive components and systems.
• Familiarity with automotive dealership parts operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in identifying and purchasing correct parts for vehicles.
• Use electronic catalogs and software to locate part numbers and check availability.
• Monitor stock levels, receive shipments, and organize parts storage.
• Place orders for out-of-stock parts and track delivery timelines.
• Provide service technicians with the right parts for repairs and maintenance.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and warranty claims for defective parts.
• Maintain accurate records of parts transactions, inventory and customer interactions.
• Coordinate with suppliers, service advisors and other departments.
