Job summary

Columbia CDJR | Walt Massey Automotive Group in Columbia, MS is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join our busy parts department. If you have a strong automotive parts background and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities include identifying and ordering parts, maintaining inventory, handling receipts, processing special orders, and delivering excellent customer service in person and by phone.

Qualifications

• Automotive parts experience is required.
• CDJR parts experience is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and inventory management.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Experience with dealership management systems and electronic parts catalogs is a plus.

• Assist service technicians and retail customers with identifying and ordering the correct automotive parts.
• Maintain accurate inventory and stock levels.
• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming parts shipments.
• Process special orders and communicate order status with customers and technicians.
• Ensure timely parts availability to support an efficient service department.
• Keep the parts department organized, clean, and operating efficiently.
• Deliver exceptional customer service in person and over the phone.

Previous automotive parts experience is required. Experience with Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram (CDJR) parts is highly preferred but not required.
