Job Description

Pay: $15 to $32 per hour. Compensation depends on experience and includes potential incentives.

As an Automotive Technician at Monro, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain guest vehicles. You’ll participate in comprehensive training from day one, preparing you for career growth. Your role is vital in delivering exceptional guest experiences, ensuring safety, and maintaining vehicle reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, and other automotive repairs within your qualifications
• Obtain guest approval for work after diagnosis and maintain a clean work environment
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs and maintenance
• Test drive vehicles and safely operate shop vehicles for inventory pickup
• Collaborate with team members and provide leadership to General Service Technicians

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 2 years of automotive technician experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Own basic automotive tools or participate in our tool purchase program
• Ability to work overhead, stand long periods, and lift 50 lbs.
• Guest and team-focused attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE certification in at least one of A1-A8
• Technical school certificate or degree in automotive technology
