Job Description

Automotive Mechanic/Technician

Pay: Competitive! $16.00 - $35.00 per hour, with flat rates from $26.00 - $45.00, plus additional incentives.

As an Automotive Technician at Monro, you'll undergo comprehensive training and be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining guest vehicles, ensuring safety and reliability while providing excellent guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, and other automotive repairs within your qualifications.
• Secure guest approval before work, maintain a clean work area.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform repairs accordingly.
• Test drive vehicles and use shop trucks for inventory pickup safely.
• Collaborate and provide leadership to General Service Technicians.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years automotive technician experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Own basic automotive tools or participate in tool purchase program
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, work overhead
• Guest and team-oriented mindset
• Maintain applicable State Inspector’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE certification (A1-A8)
• Automotive Technician State Inspector License
• Technical school degree/certificate
