Job summary

Global Connect Technologies is seeking an experienced LabVIEW Test Engineer with automotive testing experience to design and implement automated test frameworks for ECUs, particularly BCM components, using NI VeriStand, NI PXI, and Python.

You will develop and execute SIL/HIL/MIL tests, create CAPL-based automation, analyze logs, and report defects while improving test coverage and automation efficiency in collaboration with the development and system teams.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of automotive testing experience.
• Hands-on experience with NI VeriStand, NI PXI.
• Proficient in Python and CAPL scripting.
• Experience with CANoe and CANalyzer.
• Knowledge of SIL/HIL/MIL testing.
• Understanding ECU testing and automotive architectures.
• Familiarity with CAN, LIN, UDS protocols.
• Experience with PyTest or Robot Framework.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for automotive ECUs.
• Perform SIL, HIL, and MIL testing, including regression testing.
• Develop Python/CAPL-based automation for automotive test environments.
• Work with NI VeriStand and NI PXI HIL systems and troubleshoot test bench issues.
• Develop automation-ready test cases from system and software requirements.
• Perform software integration testing for BCM/ECU components.
• Use CANoe/CANalyzer for communication analysis and testing.
• Execute test cases, analyze logs, identify issues, and report defects.
• Improve test coverage and automation efficiency in collaboration with development and system teams.
• Support development and maintenance of automated test frameworks using PyTest, Robot Framework, or similar tools.
