Job summary

Programmers.io is seeking a QA Automation Engineer in Dearborn, MI to design and implement Python-based automation frameworks for automotive testing. You will build robust test suites with Pytest and integrate AI/LLM-assisted tools to speed up test case generation and log analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts in Python.

Job description

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Python

Build and execute test suites using pytest or similar frameworks for integration and functional testing

Integrate AI/LLM-based tools to accelerate test case generation, log analysis, defect triage, or code review

Collaborate with automotive domain teams (ADAS, infotainment etc.) to understand test requirements

Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with engineering and lab teams to resolve defects

Understanding of Vehicle Architectures of Conventional, EV and Hybrid Powertrain System and corresponding ECU's.

Understand Vehicle features and ability to perform Manual testing and Automation Scripts
