Job summary

The Ford Store San Leandro is looking for an Automotive Internet Sales Representative to handle internet leads, respond promptly to inquiries within five minutes, and guide prospects through the purchase funnel with effective product demonstrations and transparent pricing.

You will manage follow-ups for 90 days, track metrics such as CSI and gross, participate in training, and work toward high levels of customer satisfaction while collaborating with a busy sales team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year auto sales experience for Internet Sales.
• Prompt replies to internet leads within 5 minutes.
• Follow-up with customers during purchasing process.
• Lead through the typical purchase funnel up to 90 days.
• Engage previous and potential customers about events/sales.
• Learn product and dealership process to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Automotive Internet Sales Representative Responsibilities:

• Tracks and responds to all Internet leads (referral services and website)
• Monitors incoming e-mail traffic from website and referral services
• Develops client prospecting file upon receipt of a lead
• Quotes pricing, rates and automobile availability to clients
• Meets and greets prospects
• Presents and demonstrates inventory
• Receives on-line and manual Credit Applications
• Remains current with products, market trends, and certifications
• Understands and implements the dealership sales process

• Maintains “Customer Service Index”, “Gross Average”, and monthly units

Automotive Internet Sales Representative Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year auto sales experience required for Internet Sales.
