Job summary

Venice Honda is seeking an Automotive Internet Business Development Center (BDC) Manager to lead the team that converts online and phone inquiries into helpful dealership experiences and sales opportunities. You’ll guide customer communication from first contact through appointment setting and hand off, while keeping the sales pipeline organized and supporting strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales management experience, customer relationship building, and a record of supporting sales targets.
• Dealership experience or automotive industry sales experience is valuable.
• Demonstrated skills in sales, negotiation, closing sales, and customer service; familiarity with CRM software and sales pipeline management.
• Strong communication, phone etiquette, math, retail math, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coach the BDC sales team; set clear expectations for customer service, phone etiquette, client communication, and achieving sales targets.
• Oversee inbound and outbound sales activity, including follow-up, cold calling, appointment setting, negotiation, up-selling, and deal closing.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales pipeline activity in customer relationship management (CRM) software; coordinate technical support for CRM systems as needed.
• Partner with sales, marketing, and inventory teams to share sales support, monitor inventory management and control, and communicate available vehicles and automotive financing options.
• Review team performance and customer interactions; strengthen communication, organizational skills, and consistent sales practices.
