Job summary

Mossy Nissan Escondido is seeking a Finance Manager to drive revenue by selling finance and after-sale products to new and used customers. The role includes commissions with a base wage for non-sales tasks and a focus on structuring deals for profitability and lender approvals.

The position requires knowledge of dealership finance procedures, leadership ability, and strong communication skills. You will work with multiple lenders, prepare documentation, and ensure compliance with relevant laws

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures
• Leadership abilities and outstanding customer service skills
• Professional appearance and punctuality
• Excellent verbal and written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills
• Follows directions from supervisors and interacts effectively with coworkers
• Understands and follows posted dealership policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Help customers arrange financing and present additional products to enhance ownership experience
• Structure deals for profitability and collectability
• Be proficient with title laws and registration processes
• Maintain required certifications
• Desk deals, submit to lenders for approval, make credit decisions, and close deals while ensuring fee collection
• Ensure deals comply with local, state and federal guidelines
• Prepare paperwork, contracts and deliver deals
• Audit team deals post-sale for accuracy of title, loan information and taxes
• Facilitate expeditious funding of contracts through appropriate financial sources
• Establish and maintain relationships with multiple finance sources including manufacturers
• Conduct business ethically and professionally
