Job summary

Mossy Auto Group in Escondido, CA is seeking a Finance Manager to drive automotive financing outcomes for new and used customers. The role focuses on structuring deals for profitability, presenting additional products, and coordinating with lenders to secure approvals while ensuring compliance.

Primary compensation is commission-based with a guaranteed minimum wage for non-sales work; anticipated annual commissions range from about $133,000 to $280,000.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Help customers arrange financing for purchases and present additional products to enhance ownership experience.
• Structure deals for maximum profitability and collectability.
• Be proficient with title laws and the registration process.
• Maintain proficiency and certifications as required for the position.
• Desk deals, submit to lenders for approval, make credit decisions, and close deals while ensuring collection of finance fees.
• Ensure all deals are compliant with local, state and federal guidelines.
• Prepare paperwork, contracts and deliver deals.
• Audit team deals post-sale for correct title, loan info, taxes, etc.
• Ensure expeditious funding of all contracts with transparent funding sources.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with multiple finance sources, including manufacturers.
• Conduct business ethically and professionally.

Job description

The Finance Manager produces additional revenue for the dealership by selling finance and other appropriate after-sale items to new and used customers. Experience in dealership management, automotive sales and prior finance selling experience are encouraged to apply.
