Smart Start seeks a hands-on Service Technician to install, service, troubleshoot, and remove vehicle-based electronic and alcohol-monitoring equipment. Training is provided, so prior exposure to our equipment is not required, just a solid foundation in auto electronics.

You will work with 12-volt systems, perform diagnostics, and train customers. The role emphasizes safety, organization, and meeting regulatory requirements, with a support-driven team culture and ongoing professional development.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude is required.
• At least 1 year of customer-facing experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems independently.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work independently while also supporting a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation when required by location.
• Ability to meet background-check and drug-screening requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and remove alcohol monitoring and vehicle electronic devices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
• Conduct customer training sessions and provide phone support to ensure satisfaction.
• Make daily or weekly reminder calls to customers with upcoming appointments.
• Perform monthly inventory audits and assist nearby facilities as needed.
• Manage weekly work hours (≤ 40 hours/week) and communicate with management.
• Uphold confidentiality, data security, and compliance with all applicable laws.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including vehicle-to-vehicle transfers.
