Job summary

VIP, Inc. is seeking an Installation Technician in the United States for hands-on diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of automotive systems.

You will ensure quality work with a focus on safety, teamwork, and customer satisfaction, following VIP processes to deliver a different and better experience for customers. The role requires one year of related experience or equivalent training, ASE certifications, and a commitment to completing required LMS trainings and safety programs.

Qualifications

  • Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journals and procedures.
  • Explain vehicle information to customers clearly and accurately.
  • Diagnose and recommend solutions to basic automotive problems.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license for state of residence.
  • Pursue ASE G1, A4 and related certifications as applicable to the role.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure workplace safety is Priority #1 and follow all safety policies.
  • Provide automotive diagnostics, repair, and maintenance across systems.
  • Initiate a Service Work Order before service and keep it visible with the vehicle.
  • Complete required prints, MPI, and documentation upon service completion.
  • Source needed parts from the Desk Team and return unused parts after service.
  • Maintain shop cleanliness, safety, and compliance with VIP standards.
