Job summary

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform basic and advanced car maintenance and repair, inspect vehicles, and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal vehicle performance and customer satisfaction. Reporting to Store and Service Managers, you will apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge and provide service of the highest quality.

This role requires at least 2 years of automotive experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass pre-employment

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of automotive service or engine diagnostic experience.
• ASE Certification preferred, but not required.
• Must have technician tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background screen.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge.
• Provide service of the highest quality to customers.
• Perform skilled mechanical work, diagnose problems.
• Inspect/repair/replace defective parts and perform preventative maintenance.
• Learn new technical information and stay updated with automotive technology.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area.
