Job summary

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform basic and advanced car maintenance and repair tasks. The role reports to Store and Service Managers and focuses on diagnosing issues to ensure vehicles perform well and customers are well taken care of.

Responsibilities include applying repair knowledge, delivering high-quality service, and maintaining safety standards while continually learning new automotive techniques.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years’ automotive service/technician experience in a professional capacity.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Top-notch customer service skills with the ability to build trust with customers.
• Willingness to work Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge.
• Provide service of the highest quality to customers.
• Perform skilled mechanical work, diagnose problems, and troubleshoot issues.
• Inspect, replace, and/or repair defective parts; perform preventative maintenance.
• Learn new technical information and techniques to stay current with automotive technology.
• Represent the company’s vision and values in all customer interactions.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety standards; maintain a safe work area.
