Job summary

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform basic and advanced car maintenance and repairs. You will inspect vehicles for potential problems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure customers are well taken care of by providing high-quality service and expert diagnostics.

The role reports to Store and Service Managers, with responsibilities including maintaining a safe work area, adhering to safety standards, and continuous learning to stay current with automotive

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years automotive service/diagnostic experience in a professional setting.
• ASE Certification preferred, but not required.
• Must have technician tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background screen.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Top‑notch customer service skills with a focus on building trust and relationships.
• Willingness to work Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge to service customers.
• Provide high‑quality service to customers.
• Perform skilled mechanical work, diagnose problems, and analyze issues.
• Inspect/repair/replace defective parts and perform preventative maintenance.
• Continuously learn new automotive tech information to keep up with industry advances.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization in the work area.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
