Job summary

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform basic and advanced car maintenance and repair tasks, inspect vehicles for issues, and troubleshoot to ensure optimal vehicle performance and customer satisfaction.

The role reports to Store and Service Managers; responsibilities include applying repair knowledge, diagnosing problems, and maintaining high service quality while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ automotive service/repair experience in a professional capacity.
• ASE Certification preferred, but not required.
• Must have Technician Tools.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to operate and drive vehicles.
• Must pass pre-employment background screen.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge to maintenance and diagnostics.
• Provide high-quality service to customers.
• Perform skilled mechanical work; diagnose and repair issues.
• Inspect, replace or repair defective parts; perform preventative maintenance.
• Keep up with evolving automotive technology and techniques.
• Demonstrate company values in interactions with customers and colleagues.
• Adhere to policies, procedures and safety standards.
