Job summary

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform basic and advanced vehicle maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure high-quality service for customers. You will report to Store and Service Managers and contribute to a safe, efficient shop environment.

The role emphasizes applying vehicle repair knowledge, maintaining service quality, and staying current with evolving automotive technology while adhering to company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of automotive service experience in a professional setting.
• ASE Certification preferred but not required.
• Must have Technician Tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to operate and drive vehicles.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Top-notch customer service skills with a drive to build trust.
• Willingness to work Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge.
• Provide service of the highest quality to customers.
• Perform skilled mechanical work while diagnosing problems.
• Inspect, replace, and/or repair defective parts; perform preventative maintenance.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques.
