Job summary

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform basic and advanced car maintenance and repair tasks, inspect vehicles for issues, and troubleshoot to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include applying repair knowledge, delivering top-quality customer service, and maintaining safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment. ASE certification is preferred but not required; weekend work may be needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of automotive service, automotive mechanic, and/or engine diagnostic experience in a professional capacity.
• ASE Certification preferred, but not required.
• Must have Technician Tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to operate and drive vehicles.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Top-notch customer service skills with a desire to build long term trust and relationships with our customers.
• Willingness to work Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge to diagnose and service vehicles.
• Provide service of the highest quality to customers.
• Perform skilled mechanical work while analyzing and diagnosing problems.
• Inspect, replace and/or repair defective parts and perform preventative maintenance on automobiles.
• Learn new technical information and techniques to stay current with automotive technology.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
