Qualifications

• Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee profitability of the dealership by leading departments (sales, financing, service, parts, accounting, administration).
• Hire and evaluate department managers and set short/long-term goals.
• Develop annual plans and present to corporate management.
• Communicate with comptroller/office manager to align forecasts with projections.
• Provide management with financial performance reports.
• Coordinate with lending institutions and manufacturers.
• Lead regular department meetings to ensure profitability and efficiency.
• Develop advertising and merchandising strategies.
• Address customer complaints through department leadership.
