Job summary

The GM will lead staff, manage budgets, oversee strategic planning, analyze performance data, and drive long-term growth while collaborating with HR, CFO and other executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or finance is preferred.
• Four to ten years of experience as general manager for a car dealership.
• Proven leadership, budgeting and strategic planning abilities.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams in sales and service.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and administer company policies to meet long-range goals.
• Review operations costs, analyses and forecasts to track progress toward goals.
• Collaborate with HR and finance leaders to update goals based on current status.
• Develop and implement strategic planning for sales, financial performance and new services.
• Oversee projects, processes and performance reporting.
• Review operations to meet sales planning and determine manufacturing or outsourcing needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
