Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking a proactive Buyer Representative to partner with dealerships in targeted markets, driving adoption of ACV dealer solutions and expanding a growing customer base. You will work to retain and grow accounts, align with Field Sales, and deliver consistent results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

You will need strong communication, a self-motivated mindset, and a customer-centric approach to exceed monthly targets while staying adaptable to market changes and new tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have proven sales experience, preferably in automotive or related industry.
• Excellent communication skills for phone, email, and text with dealership partners.
• Self-motivated and goal-driven with a track record of meeting/exceeding targets.
• Proactive in identifying opportunities and offering tailored solutions to customers.
• Strong strategic thinking to develop market-specific sales plans and drive adoption.
• Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and shifting priorities.
• Team player who collaborates across Field and Operations to support customers.
• Resilient under pressure with a positive attitude and effective objection handling.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and achieve monthly/quarterly goals.

Responsibilities

• Support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience across channels.
• Develop understanding of ACV’s dealer solutions and drive adoption with current customers.
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales and retention goals.
• Collaborate with Field Sales to execute market-specific sales strategies.
• Build relationships via text, phone, email, and internal channels in a fast-paced environment.
• Document all customer interactions in the CRM for transparency and follow-up.
• Identify customer needs and present creative solutions from ACV’s portfolio.
• Provide ongoing sales support and introduce additional products to existing customers.
• Stay informed on automotive market trends and customer preferences to guide buyers.
• Monitor account performance through KPI reviews and identify additional opportunities.
• Re-engage customers with gaps in bid/buy activity on the ACV platform.
