Eaton is seeking a Customer Account Specialist in Carol Stream, IL to act as the customer advocate within the Mobility Group North America. The role focuses on on‑time, complete shipments, order management, and proactive problem resolution to support internal teams and customers.

You will monitor inventory, coordinate with manufacturing sites and distributors, and balance priorities to meet customer expectations while driving continuous improvement in service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution required.
• Minimum 3 years experience supporting OEM and/or Tier 1 automotive customers.
• Minimum 3 years experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, customer service, demand management, or manufacturing operations.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50‑mile radius of Carol Stream, IL will be considered.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.

Responsabilités

• Maintain (enter, follow up) customer order entries and monitor status daily to manage late issues.
• Prioritize multiple customer requests and make data‑driven decisions in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Instruct Warehouse on Order Fulfillment and/or Inventory Replenishment.
• Answer customer inquiries for capacity increases and safety stock requests.
• Answer customer inquiries for new products and lead times.
• Price confirmation and entry.
• Coordinate transportation and shipping activities to support customer delivery requirements.
• Coordinate material and purchased component availability with purchasing and communicate with the customers.
• Analyze customer demand, inventory, capacity, and shipment data to identify risks and opportunities.
• Use ERP systems, Excel, and reporting tools to analyze order fulfillment performance and support data‑driven decision making.
