Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Customer Support Specialist in Minnesota to enter orders, coordinate transport and provide pricing and product information to customers and market channels. You will build relationships with customers and support sales in expediting and identifying parts.

The role requires a 3+ years of customer service experience or an associate/bachelor’s degree, and residence within 50 miles of Chanhassen MN. It includes a competitive salary and eligibility for a variable incentive program.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR HS degree/GED with minimum three (3) years of experience in Customer Service
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• No relocation offered; must reside within 50 miles of Chanhassen MN or Tinton Falls NJ

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, accurate and courteous customer service on pricing, parts identification, order details, service availability, freight information, parts availability and general information
• Enter customer orders, RMAs, credit memos and billing only orders accurately and promptly
• Manage all shipping details for customer orders in coordination with Operations and Sales, remote warehouses and customers
• Prepare and execute spare parts and/or service proposals and recommendations in response to inquiries and follow-ups to grow parts and service sales
• Seek continuous improvement in processes to speed response and enhance sales to customers and through market channels
• Keep job skills and product knowledge current through training to provide maximum value to the customer service representative position
• Other duties as assigned by Manager
