Job summary

ABRA Auto is seeking an Estimator to greet customers, assess vehicle damage, and prepare precise repair estimates in a DRP environment. You will explain the repair process, insurance claims, and payment options, while driving sales through timely estimates and follow-up with customers and insurers.

You must analyze damage on varied vehicles, including hybrids, and liaise with adjusters to secure accurate supplements. Strong multitasking and communication skills are essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience as a collision estimator or insurance appraiser.
• Experience with damage analysis on hybrid vehicles and hail, theft, vandalism.
• Familiarity with collision management systems (CCC, MRC).
• Experience with Mitchell or CCC-1 estimating software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and determine needs while delivering high levels of service.
• Inspect, analyze, and evaluate damaged vehicles to create accurate repair estimates.
• Explain repair process, insurance claims, and payment procedures to customers.
• Solicit the sale and schedule estimates to achieve a closing ratio of at least 75%.
• Maintain CSI/NPS targets and build positive relationships with insurers and customers.
• Write supplements and negotiate with insurers; keep RO status current.
• Inspect completed repairs and explain warranty and quality control to customers.
• Attend daily release meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
