Scranton Chevrolet of Norwich is hiring a Business Development Representative (BDC) to join our team in Norwich, CT. This on-site, full-time role is ideal for candidates who enjoy talking with people, staying organized, and turning conversations into scheduled appointments.

Automotive experience is not required; we will teach you our vehicles and processes. Call center experience is a plus, and fluency in Spanish or Chinese is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Call center or high-volume phone experience.
• Fluency in Spanish and/or Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese).
• Appointment setting, customer service, hospitality, retail, reception, or inside sales experience.
• Automotive dealership or CRM experience.
• You do not need prior automotive experience to apply.
• Strong listening skills and a customer-first approach.
• Dependability, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.
• Comfort using a computer and learning new systems.
• Ability to manage several conversations and tasks throughout the day.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn from coaching.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries by phone, text, and email
• Schedule and confirm showroom appointments
• Follow up with customers who have expressed interest in a vehicle
• Reconnect with customers who are still considering their options
• Contact customers approaching the end of a vehicle lease
• Keep customer records and follow-up notes accurate in our CRM
• Share appointment details with the sales team
• Work toward appointment and customer service goals while making every interaction feel personal
