Job summary

Cox Automotive in Colorado's Aurora area is seeking a Vehicle Handler to accurately enter vehicle data into the AS400 system using a TC-75 handheld, capturing VIN, stock number, dealer ID, make, model, year, mileage, color and options. You will affix stickers, apply work order numbers, identify 'no key' vehicles, direct transporters and report transport damage, while maintaining sale ID windshield codes.

This role also covers data protection, vehicle prep, basic facility upkeep, and safety

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Generally, <2 years of related experience.
Valid driver's license required.
Basic computer skills required.
Required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear; frequent stooping/kneeling/climbing.
Able to lift 1-15 pounds.
Vision: color, distance, depth perception and focus adjustments.

Responsibilities

Input accurate vehicle information into the AS400 system using the TC-75 handheld, including VIN, stock number, dealer ID, make, model, year, mileage, color, options.
Affix barcode/stock number stickers to each vehicle on arrival.
Apply work order numbers and routing labels to vehicles.
Identify and flag 'no key' vehicles.
Direct transporters to designated vehicle drop zones.
Inspect and report transport damage as required.
Provide proper sale identification windshield codes.
