Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking an Inspection Systems Engineer to provide technical expertise and project support for vision inspection, leak detection, metal detection, and other automated quality systems across Amcor’s Global Rigids Packaging Solutions network.

You will work with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Automation, Maintenance, OEMs, and system integrators to improve inspection performance, reliability, and standardization across multiple sites worldwide.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
Experience supporting inspection/automation systems in manufacturing.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement sustainable corrective actions.

Responsibilities

Support improvement, optimization, and sustainment of inspection systems across manufacturing sites.
Troubleshoot complex inspection system issues including detection performance, lighting, cameras, sensors, and interfaces.
Partner with Quality, Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Automation teams to improve inspection capability and product quality.
Support commissioning, startup, validation, and handoff of new or upgraded inspection systems.
