Job summary

United States Cold Storage, Inc. is seeking an Automation Technician I to support an automated material handling system.

The role focuses on diagnosing and resolving WMS/WCS/PLC-related issues and ensuring accurate inventory positioning in the system. Responsibilities include monitoring WCS for faults, coordinating with operations and automation providers, performing preventative maintenance, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
• Advanced technical training or a certificate is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently monitor WCS interface and clear faults promptly.
• Troubleshoot WMS/WCS and PLC communications and inventory positioning.
• Assist with PM on automation equipment and perform regular maintenance.
• Participate in continuous improvement teams for warehouse automation.
• Follow automated processes to support warehousing operations.
• Perform other maintenance tasks as assigned.
