Job summary

United States Cold Storage is hiring for an Automation role in our California facility. You will support automated warehousing by maintaining WMS/WCS integration, troubleshooting PLC programs, and optimizing aging equipment to improve throughput and safety.

This full-time, on-site position requires the ability to read and follow safety procedures and work with vendors and internal teams. The job includes lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in a cold environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some technical training preferred.
• Experience or training in warehouse automation is desirable.
• Knowledge of WMS/WCS systems and PLC concepts is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain understanding of WMS, WCS and IT integration to support operations.
• Follow automated processes to execute warehousing tasks efficiently.
• Troubleshoot Electric Mechanical Controls and PLC programs.
• Optimize automated material handling equipment and investigate vendor solutions.
• Read and enforce safety procedures and operate warehouse tech like scanners and tablets.
