Job summary

Americold is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to proactively service and repair ASRS pallet handling equipment in a cold storage warehouse. You will diagnose and fix 3-phase electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, and servo drives, and configure barcode printers and sensors.

Strong CMMS usage and safety discipline are required to maintain uptime across shifts. Expect to work in a strict, temperature-controlled environment with on-call duties; advanced preventive maintenance and modular

Qualifications

5+ years maintenance experience on ASRS or equivalent systems.
Proficient in preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of 3-phase electrical systems.
Proficient with PLC systems and CMMS usage.
Knowledge of lubrication, power transmission, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Safety-focused with Lockout/Tagout procedures experience.
Familiar with industrial Ethernet networking and sensors.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair ASRS pallet handling equipment and related electrical systems.
Perform advanced preventive maintenance and corrective repairs.
Troubleshoot PLC, VFDs, and servo drives; configure barcode printers and sensors.
Conduct modular overhauls and update maintenance records in CMMS.
Ensure safe work practices and housekeeping; work on-call as needed.
Assist with change management related to programming controls.
