Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking an Automation Technician for the 2nd shift (3PM-11PM) in Port Wentworth, paying $40.57/hr.

The role focuses on maintaining safe practices, high-quality work, and mentoring Reliability Electricians while improving equipment performance and manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include maintaining electrical systems, troubleshooting PLCs and robotics, developing maintenance plans, and executing work orders to support PI efforts and projects.

Formación

• Safety practices and adherence to standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics/prints.
• Advanced troubleshooting of PLCs, motors, drives, and robotics.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain manufacturing processes and support equipment to high performance levels, including electrical systems (MCCs, inverters, motors).
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and lead repairs for safety, quality, downtime, and productivity improvements.
• Develop proactive maintenance plans and execute PM/CM activities with detailed job plans.
• Execute and assist in project work and process improvements, including design, setup and programming of PLCs and related equipment.
• Mentor Reliability Electricians (II–IV) and share knowledge with peers and leadership.
