Shaw Industries Group is seeking an Automation Maintenance Tech V for the Port Wentworth, GA area on the 3rd shift. The role focuses on maintaining safe work practices while delivering precise maintenance, mentoring Reliability Electricians, and supporting continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities include advanced troubleshooting of PLCs, motors, MCCs, and robotics, plus development of proactive maintenance plans and timely updates to schematics.

Qualifications

• Safety practices (LOTO, PPE, fall protection).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical schematics.
• Advanced troubleshooting of PLCs, drives, relays, and automation equipment.
• Mentor junior technicians in maintenance practices.

Responsabilités

• Maintain manufacturing equipment to high performance levels, including electrical systems.
• Lead repairs and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and improve safety and quality.
• Develop proactive maintenance plans and execute scheduled PM/CM activities.
• Execute work orders and support PI initiatives; assist with design and updates to schematics.
