Job summary
Expert Connections is recruiting for a Technical Service Manager to lead Service, Applications, Customer Support, and technical operations in Atlanta, GA.
This hands-on leadership role requires strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and automation expertise, driving accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement across global teams.
The role combines leadership with hands-on engineering to ensure top-level service and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Automation, or Electrical Engineering.
- 3+ years' leadership in field service or technical operations.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with PLC-controlled automation and factory equipment.
- Customer-facing and cross-cultural communication experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily technical operations across Service, Applications, Customer Support, and testing.
- Provide hands-on support for troubleshooting, installations, commissioning, and escalations.
- Improve response times, productivity, workflows, and efficiency.
- Establish and track KPIs, priorities, processes, and standards.
- Lead onboarding, training, and team development.
- Oversee repair/RGA processes, safety, and 5S.
- Coordinate projects with international teams.
- Maintain communication with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
