Job summary

Rittal LLC is seeking an Automation System Service & Application Engineer to provide technical support, system integration, and application development for Rittal automation systems such as WT, MT, MTS, EHRT, and Perforex. You will work with customers and sales engineers to implement and operate these products.

Responsibilities include on-site and remote troubleshooting, installations, configuring systems, diagnosing faults, and conducting client training.

Qualifications

B.S. degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent training required.
Five plus years work experience in Controls Engineering or CNC Machines with plant floor experience required.
Knowledge of pneumatics and vacuum systems, electricity up to 460 volts, and related power systems.
Working knowledge of CAD/AutoCAD drawing for importing customer documentation into the RAS software.
Experience with automation systems, PLCs, and control technology.

Responsibilities

Provides daily support to customers and sales engineers related to Rittal Automation Systems.
On-site and remote troubleshooting and support for automation systems.
Assist with integration of Rittal automation products into existing systems.
Perform installations and configurations of automation systems at customer sites.
Diagnose system faults, perform repairs, and execute corrective actions.
Conduct training sessions for clients and end-users on Rittal automation systems.
Travel up to 80% to North America and Germany for deployments and support.
