Job summary

Rittal LLC is seeking an Associate System Consultant to support the sales team and customers from pre-sales through installation and implementation. You will analyze requirements, illustrate value, configure technical solutions, and deliver knowledge transfer to the sales staff.

Maintain extensive product knowledge, present remotely or on-site, and collaborate with product support. This role requires travel up to 30% and a strong engineering background in electrical or mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent experience.
• Strong engineering background is required – Electrical or Mechanical.
• Experience reading and creating Electrical Schematics.
• CAD proficiency with Inventor, SolidWorks, EPLAN.
• Prior experience using CRM tools is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% or more as required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target engineering firms that can be supplied by Rittal.
• Provide technical support to prospective engineering firms including application assistance, documentation, test results and written specifications.
• Identify new projects and opportunities with prospective engineering firms.
• Develop long-term relationships with key engineering firms and influencers.
• Support engineering firms with application help and drawings, cut sheets, and technical data.
• Deliver presentations to engineering groups and prospects.
• Obtain AVL status for the organization with engineering firms.
• Identify OEMs, panel shops, contractors or integrators associated with projects.
