Job summary

Hy-Tek Intralogistics is seeking an Automation Support Engineer to maximize customer satisfaction through field service operations and remote troubleshooting. The role includes on-site presence for mechanical and electrical issue resolution, plus involvement in R&D in the innovation lab when not on site.

You will troubleshoot AMR, G2P, P2G systems, perform maintenance, and support installation and programming tasks while upholding safety and professional standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical, electrical and/or programming experience with automation preferred.
• Robotics experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills for problem solving.
• Able to analyze and interpret mechanical, electrical and programming information in service manuals.
• Able to use hand and power tools effectively.
• Proficient knowledge of AMR, G2P, P2G or other automation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Present a professional image to customers and vendors.
• Perform system troubleshooting and resolution for innovative systems (AMR, G2P, P2G, etc).
• Provide mechanical, electrical and/or programming troubleshooting.
• Perform planned maintenance procedures as scheduled.
• Assist with mechanical installation tasks as needed for the application.
• Participate in installation supervision, system controls and/or system programming.
• Adhere to all safety rules and PPE requirements.
• Contribute to R&D for innovative solutions in the lab.
