Northern Trust is seeking a Consultant, Business Process Management to partner with Wealth Management teams on automation strategy and execution. You will analyze processes, design AI-enabled and Power Platform solutions, and drive scalable improvements across operations, risk, and governance.

The role emphasizes stakeholder collaboration, governance, and data-driven insights, with responsibilities spanning development, testing, documentation, and adoption of digital tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Information Systems, or related field.
• Typically 3+ years of experience in automation development, process improvement, analytics, or strategic initiative delivery.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and Power BI.
• Experience creating BI/reporting solutions with Power BI and advanced Excel capabilities.
• ACCA or other relevant industry qualification may be required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to identify automation opportunities and drive digital transformation.
• Lead assessments, process mapping, gap analyses, and feasibility studies to deliver practical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and support automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and related tech.
• Coordinate testing, implementation, and ongoing project/technical support.
• Create user guides, process docs, and training materials; promote adoption of digital solutions.
