Siemens Mobility in Norcross, GA is seeking an Area Operations Manager, Solutions to lead and direct operational execution across all customers in the assigned area, ensuring profitable growth and delivery performance.

You will partner with central Operations teams (PMO, Operations Excellence, LPO) to leverage standard tools and best practices, manage costs and staffing, and drive sustainable project delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading operations in a project-based environment.
• Financial acumen including responsibility for revenue, margin, cost control, and cash flow.
• Experience partnering with Sales, Project Management, and operations organizations.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Travel as needed.
• Must be 21 years of age with a valid driver's license and eligible for Siemens fleet vehicle program.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Technical and operational expertise relevant to solutions-based delivery environments.
• People leadership and workforce planning.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship management and issue-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end operational performance across the assigned area, ensuring adherence to standards and execution methodologies.
• Meet and/or exceed budget commitments including revenue, gross margin, and operating margin targets.
• Plan, direct, and oversee operational activities to support sustainable growth and consistent project execution.
• Monitor project performance to control costs, manage risk, and ensure delivery within scope, schedule, and cost.
• Partner with central Operations teams to leverage standard tools, resources, and best practices.
• Provide operational and technical support to Sales teams including pricing guidance and execution strategy for bids.
• Lead workforce planning by hiring, developing, and managing resources.
• Ensure balance sheet, cash flow, and working capital performance align with North Star expectations.
• Maintain alignment with Area General Management on market strategy and growth initiatives.
