Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Norcross, GA is hiring an Area Operations Manager, Solutions. You will lead and direct operational execution for the Georgia-Alabama area, driving profitable growth, executing projects to standard, and partnering with central operations teams to share best practices.

You will oversee resource planning, cost control, and performance against plans, while maintaining alignment with sales and project management strategies. A strong Building Technology background is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of ops leadership in project-based or engineering settings.
• 3+ years in organizational leadership, talent planning and pipelines.
• Experience in Building Technology HVAC, Building Automation, Fire/Security.
• Financial oversight including revenue, margin, cash flow.
• Ability to travel between Georgia and Alabama as needed.
• Experience collaborating with Sales, PMO and Operations teams.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end operational performance across the area while meeting Siemens SI B standards.
• Meet or exceed revenue, gross margin, and operating margin targets.
• Direct activities to support sustainable growth and project execution excellence.
• Monitor project performance to control costs, risk, scope, and schedule.
• Partner with PMO, Operations Excellence, and LPO for best practices and tools.
• Provide sales support including pricing guidance and scope definitions.
• Lead workforce planning: hiring, development, allocation, and performance management.
• Ensure balance sheet, cash flow, and working capital meet targets.
• Align market strategy and growth initiatives with Area General Management.
