Job summary

Graybar is seeking an automation products specialist in the United States. You will specify products to meet customer requirements, recommend inventory of automation products, and keep staff and customers informed about new developments in automation technology.

The role also provides technical services for operation and maintenance of automation equipment, plus support to customers and personnel with new product updates. Travel is extensive.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of progressively more responsible sales/marketing experience.
• 2 year degree or technical college or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience preferred.
• Knowledge of high-tech automation and control products.
• Knowledge of engineering principles related to customer automation products.
• Knowledge of suppliers' automation products.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Interpersonal, organizational and team building skills.
• Ability to work effectively with management and evaluate customer needs.
• Ability to clearly present complex solutions to non-technical staff.
• Ability to make oral and written presentations to internal and external contacts.
• Extensive travel required.
