Job summary

SunSource's Automation & Factory Solutions (AFS) seeks an Outside Sales Account Manager to expand our southern Kentucky territory by strengthening existing customer relationships and developing new accounts. You will act as a trusted consultant and solutions partner, helping customers identify the right automation solutions to improve their operations.

Responsibilities include building a strong pipeline, conducting onsite and virtual sales calls, presenting technical demos, developing quotes

Qualifications

• 3+ years of B2B technical sales in industrial automation or electrical controls.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; HS Diploma required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel.
• Strong communication and sales skills; proficient with Salesforce/ZoomInfo.

Responsibilities

• Own territory-based strategy to win new accounts.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline through outbound prospecting and events.
• Conduct onsite and virtual sales calls with technical demos and recommendations.
• Develop quotes with Inside Sales and close deals.
• Maintain knowledge of core product lines and solutions.
• Coordinate with Technical Specialists to assist customers.
• Travel as needed to meet customers and events.
