Job summary

Freenome is seeking an Automation Service Engineer II to grow our Automation Service team in a fast-growing, regulated lab environment. You will lead equipment lifecycle management including onboarding, IQ/OQ/PQ, calibration, and decommission processes for fully automated systems used in cancer diagnostics.

You will report to the Supervisor of Equipment, Service and Maintenance Engineering Operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale service processes to future needs, while

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in engineering or science with ≥2 years experience.
• Experience with Hamilton/Bravo liquid handlers and Illumina sequencers.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Flexible schedule; shifts may vary.

Responsibilities

• Assist with equipment installations and qualifications to ensure uptime.
• Coordinate maintenance between internal and external customers.
• Perform routine/preventive maintenance and documentation per QMS.
• Support CMMS administration and equipment lifecycle management.
• Communicate equipment status to internal customers and vendors.
